My Dad is very task driven, so it’s a pleasure to work with him.
What’s your favorite hobby and how did you get into it?
Skydiving and being a thrill seeker is what got me into it.

How many years have you worked at Capital Steel & Wire?
Three years
What do you enjoy most about working at CSW?
The fact that they made my first Christmas here so enjoyable and my first year working for them better than most places I’ve worked
What initially drew you to your field, and how has that passion evolved?
I have been operating a forklift truck since I was 15 years old. I retired from my position as a die setter/job setter. In addition to my primary role, I also assisted in shipping and receiving when the truck drivers were absent, which involved loading my own truck and handling incoming shipments. I am very skilled with this tool, so it made perfect sense for me to take on these responsibilities!
What’s a piece of advice you always give others about their work or career?
Learn all you can at your job and come to work everyday! Because even if you’re not here the company is still paying supporting you through insurance and other benefits.
What’s one thing you’ve learned about Ricky since you’ve started working together?
He works harder than I pictured him to. I’m hard to please
What is your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
Sitting on the deck and gazing at the stars. During spring summer and fall!
Have you picked up any new interests or skills in the past year?
Watching my grandchildren play sports.
What’s your favorite movie, tv show, or book of all time?
The Shack. Braveheart. Fire country
